Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat box office collection day 1: The Sanam Teri Kasam actor Harshvardhan Rane teamed up with talented Sonam Bajwa for the Hindi romance drama “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat“, which debuted in cinemas on 21st October 2025, this Diwali, under the banner of Desi Movies Factory. The film kicked off the Indian box office journey with an impressive Rs 10 Cr+ net, marking Harshvardhan Rane’s biggest opener to date.

According to the official update by the veteran film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat opened at the Indian box office with Rs 10.10 Cr net, despite facing a formidable opponent from Thamma. And the film became the 14th top Hindi net opening movie in 2025 so far, just behind Varun Dhawan & Janhvi Kapoor’s latest release, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (Rs 10.11 Cr).
Following the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam, EDKD held significant buzz early in the release, which fueled the solid box office opening and further consolidated his standing, especially across Tier-2 and Tier-3 centres.

Taran Adarsh shared the opening day box office performance of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat and gave the caption: “Backed by chartbuster music, #EKDK has opened to impressive numbers at several mass centres… Of course, the #Diwali holiday period has also significantly contributed to the opening day score.
With an extended festive weekend ahead, the film is expected to register a solid total in its extended opening weekend.”
