Matka King Trailer Drops: The Vijay Varma-fronted “Matka King” trailer has been dropped by Amazon Prime Video. The series is set against the backdrop of 1960s Mumbai and explores the rise of Brij Bhatti, played by Vijay Varma as the Matka King.
He made so much money that even the government treasury looks too small, by using his gambling talent. Created and directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, the series is all set to premiere from April 17, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.

The 2.25-minute Matka King interesting trailer introduced a simple guy, Brij Bhatti, who was an ambitious cotton trader, played by Vijay Varma. A sudden turn of events, driven by his soaring ambitions, helped him to introduce a new game called Matka. Slowly, this gambling creates a big empire and helps him to achieve all his lavish lifestyle goals.
But can his Matka empire withstand the challenges ahead? The answer will unfold on April 17, as ‘Matka King’ will premiere on Prime Video on this date.
