Haq day 1 box office collection in India: The highly anticipated Hindi courtroom drama film “Haq“, led by Yami Gautam & Emraan Hashmi, arrived on the silver screens yesterday, on 7 November 2025, under the banners of Junglee Pictures, Insomnia Films & Baweja Studios. The film draws inspiration from the landmark Supreme Court judgement of Mohd. Ahmed Khan v. Shah Bano Begum. Haq debuted at the box office with a fair Rs 1.7 Cr+ net in India and surpassed The Bengal Files.

Suparn Verma directed the film Haq, which met the early expectations and opened with Rs 2.75 Cr net in India, which beats Vivek Agnihotri’s controversial film “The Bengal Files” in terms of opening day score (Rs 1.75 Cr) and secures its place as the 30th highest-opening Hindi film of 2025, just behind Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency (Rs 2 Cr). With strong word of mouth and positive buzz, the Yami Gautam & Emraan Hashmi starrer is now expected to witness a solid weekend surge and aims to haul over Rs 7 Cr in the inaugural weekend.
