HIT 3 Vs Hit 2 global box office collection weekend 1: The third installment of the HIT Universe film “HIT: The Third Case“, led by Nani and Srinidhi Shetty, was released around 3 years after the prequel HIT: The Second Case (2 December 2022), led by Adivi Sesh, was released on 1st May 2025, under the banners of Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions. Within the 4-day extended opening weekend, Nani’s film destroys HIT 2’s lifetime collection of Rs 41.85 Cr (According to Sacnilk.om report) globally, compared to the opening weekend; Nani’s film grosses a 198% higher score than HIT 2 (3-day weekend), Rs 82.60 Cr globally.
At the Indian box office, while Hit 2 generated Rs 16.85 Cr net in a 3-day weekend, on the other hand, Hit 3 racked up a huge 209% higher score in 4 days of an extended weekend, with Rs 52.15 Cr (the 3-day score was Rs 41.9 Cr). The key reason behind this huge boost in the brand value, first of all, is the crucial strong content, brutal action sequences, PAN India release and the natural star Nani’s screen presence. Now all eyes are on Monday’s hold.
