First Inning Highlights
The SA won the toss and elected to bowl first. In the inaugural inning, India’s openers began well, their partnership scoring 36 runs in 46 balls, but then Kock b Burger Strike and Rohit Sharma departed on 14 runs in 8 balls, including 3 ‘fours’. Yashasvi Jaiswal followed soon after, scoring 22 from 38 balls, including 2 fours and 1 six.
After that, an outstanding performance was delivered by Virat Kohli and Rituraj Gaikwad; they built a partnership of 207 runs in just 176 balls, which is an incredible performance by both of them, with Kohli continuing his red-hot form from the Australia tour. V. Kohli alone contributed 102 in 93 deliveries, including 7 fours and 2 sixes, and R. Gaikwad managed 105 in 83 deliveries, powered by 12 fours and 2 sixes.
Virat Kohli is in form, which he carried from the last game when they went for the Australia tour. After that, he scored back-to-back hundreds in the 1st & 2nd games against South Africa. In the first match, he scored 135 runs in 120 balls, and now in the 2nd game, he scored 102 runs in 93 balls, and these two batters got out.

The skipper and batsman of India, KL Rahul, took the load and scored 66 runs in just 43 balls and was not out. Washington Sundar flopped again today, but Ravindra Jadeja scored 24 runs in 27 balls.
The South African bowlers gave 24 extra runs by giving 20 runs as wide and 4 runs as lb. That gave a total of 358 runs, and now the target is 359 runs in 50 overs.
Second Inning Highlights: SA won by 4 wickets
As the 2nd inning gets started, the 1st wicket falls early for South Africa in the face of Quinton de Kock, with just 8 runs in 11 balls. Followed by Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram, who had a good partnership in between, both secured 156 runs in 146 balls. Aiden Markram is the only batsman who successfully registered a century in this match, in the form of 110 runs in 98 balls, and T. Bavuma scored 46 in 48 deliveries.

Dewald Brevis scored the crucial 54 runs in just 34 balls, and his partner Matthew Breetzke also scored 68 important runs and got picked by Prashidh Krishna. Today, Marco Jensen failed to deliver a notable contribution, as he scored the poorest, 2 runs in 2 balls.
At last Corbin Bosch played a winning knock with Keshav Maharaj. Corbin Bosch scored 29 runs in 15 balls, and Keshav Maharaj scored 10 in 14.
