Inspector Zende Set to Premiere on this date on Netflix (2025): The versatile Manoj Bajpayee & Jim Sarbh teamed up for Netflix’s much-awaited retro cop-comedy drama “Inspector Zende“, set in 70s and 80s Mumbai, which revolves around a cat-and-mouse chase between an escaped swimsuit killer who breaks out from Tihar Jail and a cop who is strongly determined to track him at any cost, which is loosely inspired by a true story. The film is now officially locked for 5th September 2025 on the OTT giant.

On Thursday (7th August), Netflix officially took to the X (formerly Twitter) handle and announced the premiere date with an intriguing newspaper-style poster, featuring Manoj Bajpayee in the COP role, alongside Jim Sarbh portraying a criminal role as Carl Bhojraj, who is suspected to be hiding in Goa, leads a statewide search. Will the inspector be able to catch the swimsuit killer? The caption of the post read: “Jim Sarbh and Manoj Bajpayee found guilty of another fire performance! Watch Inspector Zende, out 5 September, only on Netflix.”
