Jolly LLB 3 CBFC certificate and runtime: Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla lead in the highly anticipated legal dark comedy drama “Jolly LLB 3“, gearing up to entertain audiences from this coming Friday, on 19 September 2025. This marks the 3rd installment of the most loved legal dark comedy “Jolly LLB” series, after Jolly LLB (2013) and Jolly LLB 2 (2017). Ahead of the grand debut, the entertainer received a U/A 16+ certificate from CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), post a few minor cuts. The initial teaser and trailer of the film escalate the anticipation for the venture and bring the hype sky-high.

After making these changes, the Subhash Kapoor-helmed and penned Jolly LLB 3 passed by the CBFC board on 2nd September. The much-awaited film received a U/A 16+ certificate and got approval for a perfect 2 hours 37 minutes 16 seconds (157.16 minutes) of runtime. Now all film enthusiasts are keenly waiting for 19th September.
CBFC Changes Made in Jolly LLB 3
According to the Bollywood Hungama report, the makers of Jolly LLB 3 received the U/A 16+ after completing these censor cuts. The CBFC instructed a few minor cuts, which didn’t impact the key theme of the plot. The old disclaimer was replaced by a new one; the liquor brands were blurred.
The fictitious place and year were added at the start of the film, the slang word ‘f**r’ was removed, and a place where an old man was attacked by a COP was modified. The logo on the file carried by Sita (Seema Biswas) was also blurred. A dialogue in the first half was changed to ‘emergency clause’, and in the second half another dialogue was also changed to “Janaki Amma ka gaon sirf ek… cheque muh par pheke maara”.
