According to the Indian market tracker Sacnilk.com report, Kalki 2898 AD, despite India vs. England T20 World Cup semi-finals and non-holiday, on Thursday it began box office journey with a humongous ₹ 95.3 Cr net in India, which was the first Indian film of 2024 to achieve the milestone, followed by on the second day (1st Friday) As per the rough data, it saw a drastic 43.34% dip, minted ₹ 54 Cr net in India, and introduced the total domestic net collection of ₹ 149.3 Cr.
The report also reveals 1st Friday’s language-wise collection report, where the Telugu version sees the major decline and generated ₹ 25.65 Cr, the Tamil version contributed ₹ 3.5 Cr, the Hindi version sustain rock hold with ₹ 22.50 Cr, the Kannada version sees growth, minted ₹ 0.35 Cr, and the Malayalam version sees a slide decline and estimated ₹ 2.00 Cr.
