After a usual slowdown on Monday, it once again spiked back on day 6 (1st Tuesday), achieving yet another remarkable milestone — crossing Rs 400 Cr worldwide.
Rishab Shetty‘s high-octane prequel to the 2022 film Kantara, Kantara Chapter-1, amassed an impressive Rs 256.75 Cr in its first five days. Sustains phenomenal momentum on day 6, recorded a notable spike, and registered Rs 47 Cr gross (India: 40.5 Cr & Overseas: 6.5 Cr), which clearly indicates reaffirming its undisputed dominance at the box office.

According to the Indian industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Kantara Chapter 1 accumulated Rs 256.75 Cr net in the first 5 days, with major contributions from the Hindi version (Rs 82.25 Cr) & the original Kannada version (Rs 76.35 Cr).
On day 6, i.e., 1st Tuesday, despite the weekday, witness 8.73% surge and minted Rs 34.25 Cr (Kannada: 13.5 Cr & Hindi: 11.25 Cr). With this, the film’s total Indian net collection has climbed to Rs 291 Cr (Kannada: 89.85 Cr & Hindi: 93.5 Cr).
