Karuppu Box Office Collection Day 17: Suriya & Trisha Krishnan’s latest fantasy action entertainer, “Karuppu“, is unstoppable at the box office, even running in its third weekend. The RJ Balaji-directed and -acted film’s consistent sensational performance helped to comfortably cross the incredible ₹180 crore net mark in India, fueled by strong third Sunday’s 14.56% spike.

According to the latest trade report by the reputed market tracker Sacnilk.com, Karuppu has accumulated ₹176.55 crore net during the first 16 days at the Indian box office. Powered by a solid weekend trend, the Dream Warrior Pictures-produced film saw a notable 14.56% surge and raked in ₹5.90 crore net across 3,327 nationwide shows. The third Sunday figure contributed by ₹5.2 crore net in 2,353 shows, and the Telugu version managed ₹70 lakh in 974 shows.
After 17 days, Karuppu’s domestic total net figure stands at ₹182.45 crore, marching towards the double century club. The film’s excellent hold despite entering its third week proves the power of positive word of mouth.
