Madhavan, and Ananya Panday crucially starred in the spiritual sequel to 2019’s Kesari, “Kesari Chapter 2”which was released on 18th April 2025. As per the latest box office update, the Karan Singh Tyagi-directed and -adopted historical drama based on “The Case That Shook The Empire” by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat grossed an impressive Rs 76.75 Cr (India: 55.4 Cr; Overseas: 21.35 Cr) globally, followed by day 8, when the Indian market racked up Rs 4.83 Cr and the international market contributed Rs 2.15 Cr/$252K gross, resulting in a total worldwide gross that breaches the Rs 80 Cr mark and stands at Rs 83.73 Cr (India: 60.23 Cr; overseas: 23.50 Cr).
Despite the new release of Emraan Hashmi led action thriller, still the heartwarming courtroom drama is the first choice for the moviegoers, which is helping the film to gain momentum.
