On opening day it grossed over Rs 11 Cr at the worldwide box office, with an impressive number of overseas gross openings. On the other hand, it debuted at the Indian box office with a remarkable Rs 5.25 Cr; out of Malayalam version alone contributes Rs 5.24 Cr net, marked as the 2nd top Malayalam opening film in 2025, just after Mohanlal himself led the last release, L2: Empuraan (Rs 18.6 Cr).

According to the reputed industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, Mohanlal’s much-awaited film Thudarum began its global box office journey with a remarkable Rs 11.10 Cr gross at the global box office. To accumulate the score, the Indian market grossed Rs 6.10 Cr (Karnataka: Rs 0.50 Cr; APTG: 0.10 Cr; Tamil Nadu: 0.25 Cr; Kerala: 5.10 Cr; and Rest of India: 0.15 Cr), and the overseas market contributed an impressive Rs 5 Cr ($586K) gross. The second day’s box office trend is also looking good, aiming to register another Rs 5 Cr+ number in the Indian market.
