The acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee is set to return to big screens with a fictional drama film, “Last Man In Tower,” adopted from Aravind Adiga’s 2011 novel. The trailer of the movie has officially dropped by the makers, which offers a gripping glimpse about an ordinary teacher who firmly stands against a powerful person for society, and it also confirmed that the film will hit the theatres on September 11, 2026.
Apart from Bajpayee, the film is also starring Divya Dutta, Boman Irani, Sukant Goel, Harish Khanna, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Ujjwal Chopra, and others.

The 2.12-minute-wide trailer of ‘Last Man In Tower’ presents the Family Man star Manoj Bajpayee as a simple school teacher in Mumbai, Yogesh Mishra, who decides to stand against a powerful builder played by Boman Irani for his society. Boman Irani’s character is a kind of businessman who thought every single thing in Mumbai could be sold.
Yogesh Mishra refuses to give up when Boman Irani’s character decides to break down the colony and construct a new project. Yogesh motivates every member of the colony not to bow down against the builder to save their living place. Will they succeed in saving the colony, overcoming all the hurdles?
The trailer offers a sharp and unsettling story about ambition, morality, friendship, and the dangerous lengths ordinary people can go to when their dreams have a price.

The drama thriller based on Aravind Adiga’s bestselling novel was directed by Ben Rekhi, adapted and screenplay by Sooni Taraporevala, and backed by Rana Daggubati, Ben Rekhi, Guneet Dogra, & Pratiksha Rao. Rangarajan Ramabadran handled the cinematography, edited by Meghna Manchanda Sen, and the music was delivered by Govind Vasantha.
