Kajol’s latest Maa box office collection day 1 fails to secure a spot among the top 10 Hindi opening films in 2025
According to the official report by Devgn Films, Vishal Furia‘s directorial Maa debuted at the Indian box office, surpassing the early projection of Rs 4.93 Cr net in India, despite being released on 1500 screens only, which is a better opening number than 2025’s early releases like Fateh (Rs 2.61 Cr), Emerge (Rs 2 Cr), Mere Husband Ki Biwi (Rs 1.5 Cr) and others. However, it falls short of entering the top 10 Hindi opening films of 2025, landing at the 12th position—just behind Shahid Kapoor’s Deva, which opened with Rs 5.78 Cr.
