Post-delivering a fantastic score in the first two weeks, it shows a noteworthy spike on Friday, followed by a massive 170% surge (approx.) detected on the 3rd Saturday (day 16), and minted Rs 20 Cr+ net in India, which marked the biggest Saturday score since release. The Ashwin Kumar-directed animated film has already created history by scoring over Rs 100 Cr net in India, becoming the first-ever animated Indian film to achieve this feat. If we look at the Indian collection breakdown, Mahavatar Narsimha generated Rs 44.75 Cr net in the inaugural week, followed by the impressive upward trend in the second week, which helped to see a solid 64.02% spike and racked up Rs 73.4 Cr.
At the beginning of the 3rd weekend, on day 15, it garnered Rs 7.5 Cr, resulting in the last 15 days’ net score reaching Rs 125.65 Cr, out of which the Hindi version alone contributed the majority, Rs 92.65 Cr, as per market tracker Sacnilk.Com.
As per the rough box office by the market tracker, on day 16 (3rd Saturday), the film benefited from the weekend boost and scored Rs 20.25 Cr domestically, marking a 31.49% higher score than 2nd Saturday (day 9) & 340.22% higher than 1st Saturday (day 2); for raising the figure, the Hindi version added Rs 16 Cr. With this, the total India collection has reached Rs 145.9 Cr, while the Hindi version has exceeded the Rs 100 Cr milestone and stands around Rs 108.65 Cr.
