Amit Sharma directed the hugely hyped biographical sports drama film “Maidaan,” Stars roped in for the film are Ajay Devgn in the key roles as Syed Abdul Rahim, who was a football coach from the time between 1952 and 1962, with Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh, and Gajraj Rao playing supporting roles in the film. As per the latest update, the much-anticipated film is all set to arrive in theaters this Eid, April 2024, against Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

The shoot was first commenced on August 19, 2019, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shoot was delayed, and finally, in May 2022, the shoot was completed. But due to a post-production delay, it was postponed two times: the first release date was June 3, 2022, and the second release date was June 23, 2023. After a long wait, the makers made a final announcement recently. As per the latest report of film critics and business analyst Taran Adarsh, the film is headed to arrive in theaters on April 20, 2024, this Eid, but the exact date has not been confirmed.
