The National award-winning director Amit Sharma helmed the much anticipated Biography sports drama “Maidaan” gearing up to debut at the box office on 10th April, this Eid, clash against Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff fronted “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” Features are ensemble with the film are Ajay Devgn, and Priyamani in the pivotal roles, alongside Gajraj Rao, Rudranil Ghosh in the supporting roles. Finally, after the trailer and 1st Song were released the film got a green signal from the CBFC.

According to the latest news update the film finally got clearance from the CBFC (Censor Board of Film certification), and received a “U” certificate without any cut from the Censor team, which indicates “unrestricted public exhibition,” you can enjoy the film with the entire family, and also got clearance of 3 hours 2 minutes (182 Minutes) official runtime. The report also unveils that, makers will be open the advance booking from 2nd April, 8 days prior to the theatrical release.
More About Maidaan
The film will be essaying the life journey of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who predicted India’s golden Period of Football from 1952–1962, and his effort to raise the national team to another level, and achieve accolades like 2 gold medals in the 1951 Asian Games and 1962 Asian Games, followed by Semi-Finalist of 1956 Summer Olympics.
Amit Sharma directed the film, Ritesh Shah penned the dialogue, side by side Siddhant Mago penned the Additional Dialogues, The story was penned by Saiwyn Quadras, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta, and produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla. Ajay Devgan portrays Syed Abdul Rahim’s character, Priyamani portrays Runa, Syed Abdul Rahim’s wife, Gajraj Rao as Parbhu Ghosh, and others. The film is set to release on Eid, 10th April, under the banners Zee Studios, Bayview Projects, and Fresh Lime Films.
