While both of the films hold impressive hype, but the pre-booking report suggests that Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-led action thrillers is far ahead of the biography drama, but this is just the beginning of havoc at the box office this Eid. According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report until 10th April, 2.02 p.m., Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has sold a total of 58171 tickets across the country, which are worth Rs 1.44 Cr (14419887) gross for the opening day (excluding block seats).
For this impressive pre-booking, the Hindi 2D format alone grossed Rs 77.32 lac (7731665.99) after selling 33694 tickets, followed by the Hindi 3D format, which racked up to Rs 61.02 Lac (6101632.96), after selling 20905 tickets, the Hindi IMAX 3D format generated Rs 3.49 Lac (349158). After selling 786 tickets, the Tamil 2D format grossed Rs 2.01 Lac (201050.19), after selling 2409 tickets; the Telugu 2D format minted Rs 35.72K (35720.68), after selling 374 tickets; and the Malayalam 2D format has sold only 3 tickets, which are worth Rs 660.
On the other hand, Maidaan has generated Rs 48.18 Lac gross nationwide after selling 21271 tickets. As per the report, the Hindi 2D format alone has sold the majority of tickets 20.68K (20682), which are worth Rs 45.76 Lac (4575858.49), followed by the Hindi IMAX 3D, which has sold 562 tickets, worth Rs 2.28 Lac (227914), and the Hindi ICE format, which has sold 27 tickets, grossing Rs 14190.
