Mohanlal led the much-anticipated Mollywood (Malayalam) periodic action film “Malaikottai Vaaliban,” set to release on January 25 during this Republic Day weekend. Lijo Jose Pellissery directed and co-wrote the film, set to release under the banners of John & Mary Creative, Century Films, Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments, Yodee Films, and Amen Movie Monastery. Features are ensembled with the film, including Mohanlal in the title role, alongside Danish Sait, Sanjeev Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, and Guinness Harikrishnan S. in the vital roles.
On January 18, the film got U/A certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) board and was also approved with 155 minutes (2 hours and 35 minutes) of theatrical runtime.
