Chennai, September 15, 2026: Soori and Suhas (Tamil debutant) starrer coastal sports drama “Mandaadi” has emerged as a major worldwide box office success among the recent releases. Driven by rave reviews and strong word-of-mouth momentum, the film has successfully breached the prestigious ₹50 crore gross mark globally after concluding the 5th day. This achievement helps the Mathimaran Pugazhendhi directorial and written film to bag its first crucial feat.
Benefited from the Ganesh Chaturthi festive season, Mandaadi saw a firm hold with ₹11.25 crore net on day 5 at the Indian box office. The impressive contribution takes the domestic net total to ₹45.85 crore.

As reported by the industry tracker Sacnilk, Mandaadi has managed a remarkable ₹14.40 crore gross at the global box office, which is majorly driven by the Indian contribution of ₹13.15 crore and the overseas contribution of ₹1.25 crore. The film’s hold on Day 5 pushes its worldwide business past the half-century milestone, and the tally stands at ₹62.38 crore.
It’s worth adding that the Tamil Nadu region continues to generate the bulk of the revenue, which is pushing to register major feats at the domestic market. Among the overseas territories, the key territories are UAE, Malaysia, and North America.
