According to the latest box office update, Christopher McQuarrie directed and wrote the spy actioner on day 1 estimated in the range of Rs 17.5-18.5 Cr in India, with the English version alone contributing in the vicinity of Rs 11.5-12 Cr, which helped it to bag the record of top opening in 2025, by replacing Thunderbolts*, which was opened with a decent Rs 2.65 Cr. In terms of the thunderous opening day number in India, the film not only zoomed past all the Hollywood films so far but also surpassed many Hindi biggies like Sky Force (Rs 15.30 Cr), Jaat (Rs 9.62 Cr) and many others.
