#MookuthiAmman2 Review: Divine Entertainment with a Commercial Twist!

Rating: 3/5
Sundar C’s packaged devotional fantasy entertainer strikes the right chords! A familiar God vs Satan battle, a popular formula that powered Amman films in the ’70s and ’80s, gets a contemporary commercial makeover.#Nayanthara shines and holds the film together, while @ReginaCassandra and #DuniyaVijay are terrific as the powerful evil forces.
The second half, however, gets weighed down by an unnecessarily extended comedy track. VFX is decent, while the climax, featuring two special appearances, delivers whistle-worthy moments!
Overall, a pucca commercial entertainer that offers divine doses of action, comedy and sentiment for the entire family!
#MookuthiAmman2 3.5/5 is entertaining, Well packaged devotional fantasy thriller with a fab #Nayanthara in the pivotal role. She is outstanding as Amman First half is fast paced with goosebump moments, mass moments and elevation blocks galore. The second half back story is interesting and the main characters @ReginaCassandra and #DuniyaVijay are superb. Kudos to the Graphics team and @hiphoptamizha bgm. On the whole, a festival film. #SundarC style climax and song picturisation with cameos are a treat for mass audiences
