It received positive reviews from critics and netizens. A few hours ago, the film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh gave the film a 3.5 rating and also wrote:

Munjya Opening Day Domestic Theatres Occupancy Report
According to the Indian market tracker Sacilk.com report, Munjya had an overall 21.49% Hindi occupancy across the domestic theaters. The day began with a decent occupancy rate of 10.41%; afternoon shows witnessed decent growth at 17.50%; followed by evening and night shows, footfalls were simultaneously 20.55% and 37.49%.

According to some news updates, Sharvari, Abhay Verma starrer Hindi supernatural, and horror comedy film Munjya’s early trends report hints at opening in the range of solid ₹ 3.50–3.75 Cr net in India, followed by the news reports also inkling a strong advance booking for the weekend days, eyes on ₹ 10 Cr net mark in the end of the opening weekend.
