The film was directed and co-written by Selvamani Selvaraj. Producer and actor Rana Daggubati officially unveils the worldwide release date through an intriguing motion poster. Including the lead, Salmaan, the film also features an ensemble including Samuthirakani, Bhagyashri Borse, and Rana Daggubati in crucial roles.

On Monday (20th October 2025), Rana Daggubati officially took to X (formerly Twitter) and made the release date announcement as a special Diwali treat for fans. The announcement came with a gripping motion poster featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Samuthirakani, and Bhagyashri Borse, accompanied by a powerful background score, which further amplified audience excitement and expectations for the film.
The caption of the post read: “Diwali just got a whole lot more explosive! #Kaantha will be lighting up theatres worldwide from NOVEMBER 14th! Wishing you all a happy Diwali and we’ll see you in the theatres very soon.”
