Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 is a Tamil epic historical action-adventure film, followed by the same-name novel by Indian writer and journalist Kalki Krishnamurthy. Screenplay and directed by Mani Ratnam, dialogue given by B. Jeyamohan, produced by Mani Ratnam and Subaskaran Allirajah. The veteran actor Kamal Haasan narrated the film; A. R. Rahman provided the songs; Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions are the production houses under which the film was released; and Red Giant Movies is distributing the film.
Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 Plot
Ponniyin Selvan is the novel of author Kalki Krishnamoorthy in Tamil; the first three parts are shown in Ponniyin Selvan 1, and the rest of the two parts are shown in Ponniyin Selvan 2.
Ponniyin Selvan The King of the Cholas Dynasty and the Father of Crown Prince Aditha Karikalan and Arunmozhi Varman, alias Prince of Cholas Dynasty, drowned in the sea after the sudden demise of Ponniyin Selvan. The Crown Prince Aditha is in sorrow, but due to the rules and rights as per Rajya Sabha, it will be divided into two parts: one for Crown Prince Aditha, and the other part will be under the rule of Prince Arunmozhi. After that, will the dynasty divide or not? For that, you have to go to the nearest cinema house to experience the story of the ancient king and his descendants’ tricks and betrayals and the fight between princes to bring the Kindom Chola Dynasty under their rule.

Ponniyin Selvan Part 2 received positive reviews from critics because of its strong storyline and the twists and turns in the film. Overall, this is a fantastically produced film. If you are expecting mass action sequences from this film, this film will disappoint you.
Positive Aspects
In Ponniyin Selvan Part 2, the story starts from where the first part was finished, and the character development is beautifully presented. Human emotion is nicely depicted in this film. Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s acting literally gives you goosebumps, and the story is full of twists. If you did not watch the first part of the film, we recommend you first experience the first part, because if you did not watch the first part, you could not feel the story of the second part, The parts are interconnected.
Negative Aspects
Some war sequence VFX looks a little poor, but overall, the film is praiseworthy.
