Vyjayanthi Movies presented the epic blockbuster “Kalki 2898 AD,” which was released on June 27th, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. The biggest-grosser film of 2024 within 22 days alone in the North American (U.S. and Canada) market has conquered a gigantic $18 million (Approx. Rs. 150.61 Cr) and registered as the all-time second-highest grosser in North America for any Indian film. The North American distributor, Prathyangira Cinemas, shows gratitude towards the makers.

On July 18th (Friday), Kalki 2898 AD’s North American distributor took to Twitter and shared that Prabhas’s epic blockbuster hit the phenomenal $18 million mark by replacing the Sharukh Khan-fronted 2023 mega-blockbuster “Pathaan (Approx. $17.49 million) .” Now the epic sci-fi film has become the second biggest-grossing Indian film in the territory, just behind Prabhas’s last all-time blockbuster, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion ($22 million). The distributor also wrote: “No matter how many films we do in the future, this film with our dear #Prabhas, our director and producers – #Kalki2898AD will always hold a special place in our hearts! Thank you for the love! #EpicBlockbusterKalki has now crossed the $18 Million mark and already the second biggest grosser in North America.“

The PAN India epic sci-fi film was directed by Nag Ashwin, who also co-wrote the film with Rutham Samar, Sai Madhav Burra, and B. S. Sarawagna Kumar, and produced by C.
