Raakh Trailer Review: The OTT giant Amazon Prime has officially dropped its trailer for the original upcoming series ‘Raakh‘, offering a gripping, unconventional investigative thriller set in 1978 Delhi. Headlined by Ali Fazal and Sonali Bendre, the glimpse focuses on a case which started as a disappearance case, but later the truth sent shockwaves across the entire city. Directed by Prosit Roy, Anusha Nandakumar, and Sandeep Saket, the series is scheduled to premiere on June 12, 2026.

Raakh Trailer Review
The acclaimed Paatal Lok director returns with the same intensity and thrill with the series Raakh. The 2.37-minute trailer, set against the backdrop of Delhi in 1978, begins with the disappearance and killing of two teenagers, whose father is a high-ranking army officer and mother is a teacher in a children’s school. The incident is so horrific that it’s being regarded as “the most serious crime in the past few years“.

The case is being investigated by Sub-Inspector Jayprakash, played by Ali Fazal. As he drives deeper, more disturbing layers are started to added in this case. Ali Fazal as an investigating officer, seemingly caught between duty, truth, and personal conflict. Who is the culprit behind this brutal crime? The answer will decode on June 12.
