As per the latest box office update, Raj Kumar Gupta directed Raid 2, which grossed a handsome Rs 23.75 Cr in the Indian market and, in the overseas market, racked up $357K+ (Rs 3 Cr+) gross, resulting in an opening day total global gross exceeding the remarkable Rs 25 Cr mark and standing at Rs 26.75 Cr. The reason behind the phenomenal domestic gross score was the partial holiday (Labour Day) and simultaneously the huge franchise value, which played a crucial role in attracting footfalls.
According to the North American market tracker Venky Box Office update till 7 pm PST, in the USA and Canada markets, the thriller minted $59,069 (Rs 49.65 lakh) gross.
