Jordan’s horror flick Sinners debuted at the Indian box office with Rs 0.6 Cr, marked as the 3rd highest English opening net score in India, after Captain America: Brave New World (Rs 2.1 Cr) and A Minecraft Movie (3D) (Rs 0.75 Cr); continuing on day 2 (Saturday), a notable spike helped to mint Rs 0.8 Cr and bring the total Indian net score to Rs 1.4 Cr ($164K).
It is facing huge challenges against the latest Hindi historical legal drama “Kesari Chapter 2“, led by Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday. All eyes are on Sunday’s (day 3) score; hopefully it will register the first Rs 1 Cr+ number in India.
