The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 1: The Rebel star Prabhas’ high-octane fantasy horror comedy film “The Raja Saab“, directed and written by Maruthi, finally arrived in the worldwide theatres today, on 9th January, on the occasion of Sankranthi 2026. As per the very early estimate report so far, the film registered ₹ 6.21 Cr net in India (as per Sacnilk.com), across all the languages, and is aiming to open on a decent note. The Raja Saab Day 1 Box Office Collection
The Sankranthi 2026 festival release, the magnum opus The Raja Saab, has so far racked in ₹ 6.21 Cr net. As per the final advance booking report by the Sacnilk.com report, the film has grossed a solid ₹ 15.31 Cr gross in the advance booking (without block seats) for the opening day. With this impressive pre-booking performance and the current booking momentum ‘The Raja Saab’ is aiming to open in the range of ₹ 27-35 Cr net nationwide.
Reportedly, the film was made with a budget of ₹ 400-450 Cr. To recover the budget amount, the Prabhas starrer has to sustain strong momentum throughout the extended opening weekend.

Why three heroines
I felt like the movie actually started about 10 minutes before the interval. Even in the second half when the film is in a serious mode, what was the need to forcefully insert that Nacho Nacho song? It could have been placed at the end, right….
