Thudarum global box office collection day 17: Tharun Moorthy directed and written by K. R. Sunil, the critically acclaimed Malayalam crime thriller “Thudarum“, within 17 days of its worldwide box office run, entered the massive Rs 200 Cr club, which marked lead Mohanlal‘s back-to-back second double century in 2025, just after the biggest Mollywood grosser of 2025 so far, L2: Empuraan (266.68 Cr). To date in 2025, Mohanlal is the only Indian actor who achieved this praiseworthy box office record.

While Mohanlal’s last action thriller racked Rs 97.34 Cr (as per Sacnilk.com) net in its lifetime box office run, on the other hand, Thudarum has racked Rs 93.75 Cr net in the last 16 days in India; this Friday the Tamil-dubbed version of the film has released in theatres, giving the film an opportunity to maintain its strong dominance. On day 17 (3rd Sunday), it saw a solid 33.75% surge and minted an estimated Rs 5.23 Cr, resulting total Indian net score of Rs 98.98 Cr and breaching L2: Empuraan’s lifetime Indian net collection.
