Tracker Season 3 Episode 1 and 2 Review: It was October 26, 2025, when Tracker Season 3, episode 2, titled “Leverage”, was finally aired, following episode 1, also titled “The Process“, released on 19th October. The show is gaining a lot of hype, and it started with a thrilling two-part premiere that firmly establishes it as a CBS hit. Both episodes have sparked widespread discussion among fans and critics alike.

Tracker Season 3 Episode 1 Review
The season takes us to Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), who is retreating into isolation to process the unresolved trauma that has been surrounding his father’s death. His quiet moment of self-reflection doesn’t last long, thanks to Russell Shaw’s (Jensen Ackles) dramatic entrance. Their reunion is very natural. It is executed perfectly and sets the stage for one of the show’s strongest storylines yet.
The premiere looks so well-crafted, and it introduces a new vision to the underground organization. The organization which is called “The Process” started as a simple missing persons case and also involved Reenie’s client. Soon, as Colter and Russell try to save a mother and daughter, they fall under major troubles as they discover a larger conspiracy which involves blackmail and cryptic messages.
The Shaw brothers appear very natural. Russell’s brash personality is in perfect contrast with Colter’s measured calm, and together they form a magnetic duo. Episode 1 ends on a haunting cliffhanger. We see both brothers receive a chilling text that sets up the warning: “You interrupted The Process, and there will be consequences.” It’s a powerful setup for the second half of the premiere arc.
Tracker Season 3 Episode 2 Review
Episode 2 is perfectly executed, and it wastes no time in taking us on a new and exciting ride. Colter and Russell race against time to expose those responsible. The episode presents us the right balance of action sequences and deeper emotional threads, and it is the perfect display of how much the brothers have grown and learnt to trust each other again.
The introduction of Don Schneider adds an important turn to the episode. Don Schneider is a former psych grad student who has turned into a manipulative mastermind and offers a chilling villain. He has been revealed as the brains behind The Process, and it feels and works in sync to serve as a reminder that true evil often hides. It keeps the audience hooked throughout.
Episode 2 is well saved and complemented by the supporting characters like Randy and Reenie. They, both together, added the much-needed spice of humour and heart as they advanced into the investigation. Russell has been phenomenal.
His clever display of faking his death is effortless, and it successfully deceives The Process, which gives us one of the most thrilling moments of the two-part arc. The final scene of episode 2 takes us to Colter, who is trying to reflect on their mother’s lies and the cryptic number in their father’s journal. This ending has left viewers on the cliffhangers, and it hints towards deeper emotional storytelling this season.

The Verdict – A Strong and Emotional Start to Tracker Season 3
All in all, both premiere episodes are loaded with tight storytelling and brotherly banter that will keep you engaged throughout the episode. Hartley and Ackles worked very well. Director Lizzy Buczak has done amazing. The Tracker Season 3 Episodes 1 & 2 Review has proven only one thing: that the series is not just about solving mysteries, but it’s about dealing with trauma, healing relationships, and finding redemption through every pursuit.
