While the objective was to uncover the dark side of the religious organization, things get worse when the two become informants for the FBI.
Samuel Bateman is a man who is considered a prophet in a group of people whom he manipulates by making them believe that they must follow him if they hope to be saved. Bateman manipulates and controls a group of “wives”, most of whom are children, by instilling fear in them.
