VD14 gets title Ranabaali: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna reunite as a pair in the highly anticipated pan-Indian film VD14, which is now officially titled “Ranabaali“. With the first glimpse, the makers have officially announced that Ranabaali will release in the worldwide theatres on 11th September, 2026.
The film is set against the backdrop of before 1947, before Indian Independence, and spotlights the darkest and hidden chapter of India. Including the dynamic lead duo, who are going to be the couple very soon, Vijay and Rashmika, the film also features Arnold Vosloo and others.

About Ranabaali Movie
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the period action adventure drama is set before Independence Day and will focus on the pre-Independence period’s darkest chapter and will show the genocide in British-occupied India, which can be said to be “worse than Hitler’s Holocaust”.
Notably, how Britishers stole from the golden bird “India” 45 trillion dollars. Vijay Deverakonda returns as a Ranabaali, as a fearless freedom fighter, and stands tall against this genocide.
Financed by Naveen Yerneni & Y Ravi Shankar, it will be released under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The dynamic duo Ajay-Atul will compose music for the film, edited by Karthika Srinivas R, and cinematography handled by Nirav Shah.
