Five-time National Film Award-winning director Vetrimaaran‘s next chapter of the Vada Chennai cinematic universe, “Arasan“, led by the talented Silambarasan TR, has its first promo out now. The promo earlier had premiered exclusively in select theatres.
Following that, on 17th October (Thursday), the makers dropped the intense 5.35-minute wide striking glimpse online, which unleashes Silambarasan‘s ferocious look intensified by Anirudh’s strong BGM, promising an electrifying and intense cinematic journey.

The promo confirmed that “Arasan” exists within the same cinematic universe as 2018’s Vada Chennai. The latest glimpse strongly suggests Arasan has the potential to carry forward the legacy of Vada Chennai, which marks one of the best Tamil gangster dramas made so far.
The Arasan promo unveils the dual role of Silambarasan TR: one is a simple young man, unwillingly drawn into the world of crime, and now he is trapped in a do-or-die situation. On the other hand, another portrayal reveals a formidable gangster who had killed a rival gang leader.

The Tamil gangster action drama is helmed by Vetri Maaran, backed by Kalaippuli S Thanu, and features crucial music composed by Anirudh. R. Velraj handled the cinematography, which was edited by R. Ramar, and it is gearing up to hit the big screens under the banner of V Creations.
