Vibe Vs Daayra First Weekend Box Office Collection: The Indian box office witnessed a clash of the Bollywood films Kunal Khemu & Preity Zinta starrer ‘Vibe‘ and Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Daayra‘ this weekend, on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Kunal Khemu’s second film as a writer and director, Vibe, minted ₹3 crore net on day 3 (Sunday), as reported by the Sacnilk. This marked 9.09% growth compared to Saturday’s earnings of ₹2.75 crore. After wrapping up the initial 3 days of domestic run, the opening weekend total net has reached a decent ₹7.45 crore.

On the other hand, Meghna Gulzar’s directorial crime thriller ‘Daayra‘ reportedly earned ₹1.75 crore net, repeating the similar figure as Saturday. Though the BOGO (Buy One and Get One Free) offer was activated on Saturday & Sunday, the box office performance was unable to meet the expected mark. After closing the first 3 days of the domestic run, Daayra’s net total stands at an underwhelming ₹4.5 crore.

Meanwhile, the same-day release of Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran, prominently starring in ‘Daayra,’ accumulated ₹4.50 crore net. This reflects a clear dominance by Vibe at the Hindi box office over the weekend, outperforming Daayra by a remarkable 65.56% margin.
