Viduthalai 2 Day Wise Box Office Collection Report (2024): Five National Film Awards, three Filmfare South Awards, and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award-winning director, Vetrimaaran‘s latest helmed and script-penned Tamil periodic crime thriller, “Viduthalai 2,” was released in worldwide theatres on 20 December 2024, under the banners RS Infotainment and Grass Root Film Company. Before the grand global theatrical debut, it premiered for the first time on 31 January 2024 at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Stars teamed up with the film are Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Manju Warrier, Kishore, Anurag Kashyap, Bose Venkat, and others.
It debuted at the Indian box office with, as expected, ₹ 7.5 Cr net in India; out of the score, the original Tamil version scored ₹ 7 Cr and secured the 10th spot among the top opening day Tamil net scorers in 2024, just behind Allu Arjun’s box office monster Pushpa 2: The Rule (₹ 7.7 Cr).
