Welcome to the Jungle Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar led the latest Hindi comic caper, “Welcome to the Jungle“, which debuts at the Indian box office on an overwhelming note. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film was released in theatres worldwide on June 26, 2026. Ahead of the full-fledged release, on Thursday, June 25, the entertainer reportedly earned a net of ₹3.75 crore. On Friday, Welcome 3 surpassed all the early expectations and registered ₹15 crore+, a bigger score than Akshay Kumar’s last release, Bhooth Bangla (₹12.25 crore).

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk, on the crucial opening day, Welcome 3 has scored ₹15.25 crore, with the paid preview score (₹3.75 crore) bringing Welcome 3’s domestic total so far to ₹19 crore. Notably, the debut day figure has beaten the latest rom-com Cocktail 2 (₹13.50 crore) and emerged as the third biggest Hindi opening film of 2026.
The national chains’ performance is decent, but the majority of earnings came from mass centers. If the current trend continues, Welcome to the Jungle is expected to conclude the opening weekend around ₹55-60 crore. The entertainer was reportedly made with a budget of ₹250 to ₹300 crore. To recover the budget amount, the film has to witness a firm hold on the weekend days.
