Tumbbad 2 Release Date: Directed by Adesh Prasad, the much-awaited Hindi horror fantasy sequel “Tumbbad 2” has finally received a major update. Actor-producer Sohum Shah has officially revealed that the film is officially scheduled to release in worldwide theatres in December 2027.

Taking the social media handles, Sohum Shah officially dropped the major update on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. He announced that Tumbbad 2 will hit the cinemas on 3rd December, 2026, under the banners of Pen Studios and Sohum Shah Films. The caption of the post read: “A sinful past, an ominous future. The hunger rises, the legacy of greed continues… Mark your calendars #Tumbbad2 arrives on 3.12.2027”

The Hindi horror fantasy film serves as the sequel to 2018’s Tumbbad, directed and written by Adesh Prasad and backed by Dhaval Gada, Jayantilal Gada, Ankit Jain & Sohum Shah. Alongside Shah, also featuring are Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Resad Ajim, Nimisha Sajayan, and others.
