As per the reputed market tracker Sacnilk.com’s early trend report, so far Kattalan has managed an underwhelming ₹2.71 crore net across 3,346 shows, strongly powered by the Malayalam version score of ₹2.17 crore, and ranked as one of the biggest Malayalam opening films in 2026 so far.
Despite the film being released in PAN Indian languages and being part of the acclaimed ‘The Marco Universe‘, it is aiming to open a decent amount, around ₹3 crore net, which failed to beat Marco‘s opening day score of ₹4.30 crore. If the trend continues, the 4-day extended opening weekend total will go beyond ₹12 crore.
