The Odyssey Makes a Massive Impact on Its Opening Weekend
Featuring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Robert Pattinson in leading roles, ‘The Odyssey’ made a massive impact at the Indian box office. The Christopher Nolan directorial grossed ₹61.30 crore (as per Sacnilk) during its opening weekend, becoming the weekend’s top earner.
The English version alone collected around ₹48.50 crore, contributing an impressive portion of the movie’s total collections. The film received a good response, especially in southern circuits, although the Hindi version too fared well in Mumbai, Pune, and NCR.

Dhamaal 4 Shows Strong Hold in Mass Markets
While a Bollywood blockbuster released, Dhamaal 4 kept up its winning streak at the theaters. With Ajay Devgn heading the film, the comedy adventure movie raked in ₹28.5 crore in its second weekend.
The movie’s overall net earnings in India have reached ₹124.50 crores. The movie is giving its best show in the tier-2 and tier-3 cities, which have remained connected to the franchise with their masses.
Lenin Keeps Up with Consistency
Rural action thriller Lenin starring Akhil Akkineni also continued with its consistency. After earning well during its first week, the movie made ₹6.95 crore in its second weekend.
In terms of its collection, the movie has reached ₹43.60 crores. The earnings of the movie indicate consistent performance among the audience.

Evil Dead Burn Thrives on Positive Word-of-Mouth
Supernatural horror movie Evil Dead Burn is making for a successful show in India. Despite getting fewer screens and shows due to new releases, the movie earned ₹5 crore in its second weekend.
It now stands at ₹26.25 crore. Quite surprisingly, even the Hindi audio version of the movie helped to improve its performance at the ticket windows.

Gatta Kusthi 2 Approaches the End of Its Stint at Theaters
Tamil comedy about sports, Gatta Kusthi 2, with Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the leads, saw its performance dip sharply in its third weekend. The movie collected ₹3.75 crore from theaters for its total collection amounting to ₹38.71 crore.
Nevertheless, despite the mentioned dip, the sequel managed to receive a good verdict at the box office. To sum up, the current weekend once again showed the power and versatility of the Indian theatrical landscape.
