The feature film debut of the director Gurmmeet Singh, “Mirzapur The Movie“, which is based on Prime Video’s popular television series Mirzapur (2018), was released in theatres on Friday, September 4, 2026. The action crime thriller film racked in ₹24.75 crore net at the Indian box office, out of ₹24.60 crore added by the Hindi version alone, and emerged as the 4th biggest Hindi opening movie in 2026 so far, replacing Emraan Hashmi’s latest super-hit film, Awarapan 2 (₹22 crore). The Telugu version registered an underwhelming ₹15 lakh net.
Stars teamed up with the film are Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, and Ravi Kishan in crucial roles.
