#Baththa Review : Brilliant!
Rating : 4/5
@VijaySethuOffl proves yet again why he is one of the finest performers in Tamil cinema. Reuniting for the third time with favourite collaborator #BalajiTharaneetharan of ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ & ‘Seethakathi’ fame, the duo strikes gold once again! The combo blends humour, deep human emotions and family sentiments beautifully. The real surprise is young Sabari, delivering an out-of-the-world performance in an almost parallel role to Vijay Sethupathi. Terrific
@jose_lijomol and
@SaiAbhyankkar’s soulful BGM create the perfect mood and elevate the narrative…..
#BATHTHA Review — A Super fun and emotional film.
Balaji Tharaneetharan has killed it with his style of storytelling. Neatly written and well executed.
The first 20 minutes will make you doubt the film, but the treat awaits after that. #VijaySethupathi and the kid nailed it vera level performances, and everyone did their job well. Sai Abhyankar’s work was so good and apt for the film’s mood.
Blast first half, fun and emotionally convincing second half. People were enjoying the film. Most satisfying film after a while. Don’t miss! A MUST WATCH FILM
Ratings 4.25/5
#Baththa (4/5) – Solid. A very different gangster film that sets itself apart with a terrific mix of comedy, gangs and emotions. Balaji Tharaneetharan delivers a lovely and enjoyable film that starts off slow, picks up very well towards the interval and arrives with a superb 2nd half. Lot of laughs and theatre moments guaranteed. The film is bent on a very thin line and an incident that brings together the character, but credit to Balaji for looping in the screenplay so well and keeping it engaging until the end. The last 30 minutes in particular are wondrous. Love how the script makes entertaining scenes out of very small elements, which becomes it’s biggest plus point…
