The film has already made headlines, first about Akshay Kumar, then later about Farhad Samji, who is going to direct it. Then people commented a lot on social media, asking the makers to get the film directed by someone other than Farhad Samji. Farhad Samji’s image is a bit bad; people believe that he makes even good films into jumbles.
Apart from this, T-Series confirmed to a public inquiry that the production house is the “oceanic and absolute right holder of all copyrights in all music and audio optical song rights” of authority across all mediums. And now, in recent news, another binding notice has been issued by Eros International to the makers. According to Film Computing Magazine (via Bollywood Hungama), Eros International professes to hold the rights to the cerebral resources as well as the title, digital rights, and music rights on an ‘oceanic and exhaustive basis’. and that’s not all. Eros also claimed that they owned the entire rights to Welcome Back (2015).
The cognizance further states that Firoz Nadiadwala‘s Mumbai Base Industries Group owed Rs. 60,07,75,236, including interest, to Eros International on April 17, 2023. It was also said that Firoz Nadiadwala had made it clear that it does not justify third parties or attempt to release Hera Pheri 3 in India or any other country in the world without the approval of Eros International.
This admitted glitch may also hamper the upcoming sequels to “Welcome” and “Awara Paagal Deewana 2,” with Eros International claiming that it holds parallel rights to both these charters.
