Bollywood Diva Katrina Kaif and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi’s highly anticipated film Merry Christmas gets a new release date before it was set to hit theatres in 2022. On July 17, the makers officially unveiled the new release date, which will be released in theatres on December 15th.

Katrina and Vijay revealed two posters on their Instagram handle, one in Hindi and another in Tamil, and gave the tagline, “Raat jitni sageen hogi, subah utni rageen hogi.” The poster gives off the vibe of Old Bombay. The movie might be released based on the old theme of Bombay.

The Hindi version’s film also enlisted the features of Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version roped in Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in similar roles. The crime thriller will be based on the story of a crime that takes place on the holy occasion of Christmas. The film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, will be released globally in 6 different languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, English, Kannada, and Malayalam.
