Japan Day 4 Box Office Collection: Karthi and Anu Emmanuel starrer much-awaited heist action comedy film Japan was the recently arrived Tamil movie in this Diwali week against another much-awaited Ragava Lawrence and S. J. Suryah starrer, Jigarthanda DoubleX.
The heist action comedy venture started its journey at the box office with a praiseworthy ₹ 4.15 Cr net, but on the second day it saw a 31.33% dip, with ₹ 2.85 Cr net collection. On the opening Sunday, it bounced back 36.84%, with ₹ 3.9 Cr, bringing the opening week net collection to ₹ 10.90 Cr. On day 4, opening Monday generated another low number, ₹ 2.82 Cr net against Jigarthanda Double X, taking the total India net to ₹ 13.72 Cr.

Japan had an overall 28.48% Tamil occupancy across the domestic box office. Morning shows footfalls were 19.72%, afternoon shows footfalls were 34.48%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls of 33.13% and 26.57%.
And in the Telugu version, there was a total of 19.51% Telugu occupancy around the domestic theatres. Morning shows footfalls were 21.26%, afternoon shows footfalls were 20.83%, and side by side evening and night shows footfalls were 18.90% and 17.04%, respectively.
Japan 4 Days Global Gross Collection
Japan in 3 days earned ₹ 15.25 Cr gross at worldwide box office; and after spending 4 days at box office, the film racked ₹ 13.72 Cr net, ₹ 16.50 Cr gross in India, side by side in the overseas market minted ₹ 2.80 Cr gross, introduced the global gross collection to ₹ 18.85 Cr.

Japan is a Tamil-language heist action comedy film, helmed and penned by Raju Murugan and produced by S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu. The leading characters of the film are Karthi and Anu Emmanuel, but despite them, Jithan Ramesh, K. S. Ravikumar, and Sunil also played important roles in the film.
