According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, the film received overall 36.04% Tamil 2D occupancy across the Indian theaters on its opening day. Morning shows footfalls were 18.95%, afternoon shows footfalls saw phenomenal growth at 34.52%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls were simultaneously 37.62%, and 53.06% respectively.
And the Telugu 2D format’s overall occupancy was 20.10%. The morning shows footfalls were 18.82%, and the afternoon shows footfalls were 21.37%, respectively.

As per the market tracker’s early estimates report, Sundar C’s Tamil Horror Comedy Film debuted with ₹ 3.60 Cr net at the Indian Box Office, securing the position as the second-highest opener in Kollywood for 2024, replacing Sivakarthikeyan, and Rakul Preet Singh fronted Sci-Fi film Ayalaan (₹ 3.45 Cr). With promising prospects, if everything goes well, there is high expectation that the film will surpass the notable ₹ 10 Cr mark within the weekend.
