Indian 2 Box Office Early Estimates Day 2: The versatile Kamal Haasan-fronted sequel, Indian 2, was released in theaters on July 12th, with a phenomenal score of ₹ 25.6 Cr net in India. On the second day, the film maintained an incredible hold despite receiving mixed reviews and minted ₹ 16.7 Cr net in India. The film was helmed and penned by S. Shankar, with dialogue penned by B. Kamal Haasan fronted the sequel to 1996’s Indian, which began with a record-breaking number in the Kollywood market due to a handsome advance booking in pre-release. But on the second day, despite a decent advance booking and mixed reviews, the film holds well, witnessing a slide of 34.77% decline, adding roughly ₹ 16.7 Cr net, and introducing the total domestic net to ₹ 42.3 Cr. On Saturday, the Tamil version contributed around ₹ 13 Cr, the Hindi version added similar to opening day ₹ 1.2 Cr, and the Telugu version registered a huge dip with ₹ 2.5 Cr net.
