Recently released, the PAN Indian blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD makers sent a legal notice to two Kolkata-based influencers, Sumit Kadel and Rohit Jaiswal, for their defamatory tweet against the epic sci-fi, who are accusing the makers that their production box office figures are fake and also claimed corporate booking.

As per the latest report by the news portal Bollywood Hungama, Sumit Kadel has already received the legal notice, followed by Rohit Jaiswal, who will receive it by Friday, July 19. The makers are taking legal action against influencers due to the regular basis slander of wilfully giving fake box office figures.
The report also added that the legal notice reveals that both influencers have to open their sources for the collection of Kalki, as they had claimed earlier the real estimates. Simultaneously, both have to reveal the day-wise collection breakdown, territorial-wise, to prove their claim. If they fail to prove within the designated time, they both will be liable to pay a penalty of Rs 25 crore due to the blatant statement and fake narratives against the makers.
