Deadpool & Wolverine Initial Twitter Review in India: Shawn Levy directed the highly anticipated sequel to 2018’s Deadpool 2, Deadpool 3 A.K.A Deadpool and Wolverine, after much anticipation, finally arrived in global cinemas today (26th July). The film is heavily driven by references, cameos and Deadpool’s patented humour. Most of the scenes offer proper ‘fan-service’ to die hard Marvel fans.
The story is a basic one with few pacing issues here and there but overall, it keeps you engaged and you keep wondering ‘what’s happening next’.
The action is impressive, the chemistry and the humour between the characters works really well and the mounting is huge.
The opening sequence stands out with film-making that is technically sound with appropriate colour grading, cinematography and a brilliant sound design.
What doesn’t work? The villains. When two characters unite, the antagonists need to be strong, smart, impactful & most importantly memorable.
You need to be a Marvel Buff in order to grasp the humour and the references in totality. However, it demands a theatrical viewing.
There’s so much to discuss but a spoiler-free review is needed for you to enjoy the film on the big screen.

Deadpool’s off-color humor meets Wolverine’s gruff charm, delivering non-stop laughs and unexpected emotion. Shawn Levy’s direction nails the comedy, and the film’s meta-commentary on Marvel’s multiverse is spot-on.
Film has some crazy unexpected cameos which are the major highlights of this supremely entertaining film.

DeadpoolAndWolverine is a crowd-pleasing pop-corn entertainer, that’s loaded with gags, meta-references, nostalgia, and ample cameos. The biggest strengths of the film are the humor-filled dialogues and camaraderie between #RyanReynolds and #HughJackman, which even overpowers the relatively weak villain.
There are ample of clap trap moments, which includes a larger-than-life whistle-worthy climax act, with emotions at the core. Yes, the plot could have been better, but yet the film does complete justice to the union of #Deadpool and #TheWolverine, and delivers what was promised – ENTERTAINMENT, ENTERTAINMENT, & ENTERTAINMENT!
